Some activities may incur additional charges for items like admission fees, kayak rentals, food, drink, etc., while others may not. Whenever possible, San Diego Singles Connnection members will receive discounts not available to non-members (i.e. reduced admission fees, reduced food or beverage charges, etc.).  For example, at our Singles Nights at Wine Steals members receive 50% off a glass of wine.  Depending on the wine chosen, that could save you as much as $5 or more.  That's half of the monthly membership you would save at just one event!  If you attend more than one event per month you could end up saving more than the cost of your monthly contibution from the discounts alone.

Why do we charge a membership fee?

• To encourage more people to attend events - We've found that as many as 50% of the people who sign up for an event where they are not required to make any financial committment tend to flake and not show up.  A large number of no-shows affects the experience for those who do attend.
• To offset our expenses related to the arranging and organization of our events and any administrative costs that may be involved.
• To pay for advertising to promote the organization and attract more members for you to meet.
